We just went out last night to one of our favorite affordable restaurants for our anniversary. It was nice, but it reminded us that we have become accustomed to eating quite well at home and saving a fair bit of money that we put toward other things now. That’s one way our practices will be permanently changed by covid. No more eating out once or twice a month. More like for special occasions only.

A co-worker of mine said he saved up almost 2 grand while the bars were closed.

Yeah I don’t get bar culture. Too loud, and most of the people that hang out at bars are annoying anyway.
I’ll take drinking at home over drinking at a bar any day.
My wife however doesn’t get that, she says drinks are always better when some one else made them. Lol

It’s the company you’re with . My sister used to go out to dance with her girl pals, and I can see that. If you’re going to find company, well that’s never been my forte.
